Winemakers notes: 

The grapes were fermented in small open tanks for gentle extraction of colour and tannins. The wine was made with minimal handling and 9 months barrel aging. It shows characters of forest floor and brambles, the palate is soft and elegant with fine tannins and a long finish. It can be enjoyed in its youth but will benefit from medium term cellaring. The wine is a good accompaniment to tapas, roasted poultry and lamb dishes.

Tasting notes:

Singing of Pemberton, this pinot could be from nowhere else. Brambly red cherry, strawberry 
and green olive direct the aromas, with hints of crushed coffee, white spice and white chocolate 
playing minor but significant roles onstage. 
On the palate, this is an elegant pinot, moving down the light and fine path, rather than full and 
dense. Not quite fine-boned, this has an elegant structure that holds all the intense fruit 
together, the tannins are finely woven throughout. 

Through the finish, the pinot characters linger and morph over mulberry, black cherry, satsuma 
plum and licorice. While this may age gracefully over the next five to ten years, the suggestion 
is to drink it now to take full advantage of the interplay between the bright berry fruit and 
delicate spices on display
